Health and safety
Hydro Technologies places health, safety and public protection at the top of its priorities. It’s the reason why, since its beginnings,
Hydro Technologies has applied itself to create a safe work environment for its employees and the surrounding community.
These measures include:
- Responsible environmental emergency plan
- Firefighters and HAZMAT teams training
- Emergency training with firefighters from Quebec City
- Security equipment worn at all times
- Continuing employees education
- Notable investments in security equipment
- Active member of a mutual company in health and safety
- Joint effort with CSST, and federal and provincial environment departments (EC and MDDEP)
- C-TPAT (Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism) international security program certification
In 2010, we have celebrated a record in safety and a distinction in chemistry industries;
- 787 days without time-lost incidents
- 656 days without recordable OSHA/ANSI incidents
For a plant running 24 hours a day, this is an important event that shows Hydro Technologies’ devotion to Health and Safety
in the workplace. Congratulations to all our employees!
Environment
Hydro Technologies is eco-aware and is proud to be a plant that doesn’t generate any effluents, be it liquid, solid or gaseous,
from its operations site.
